Pravinsinh K Solanki
家具暨室內設計工業設計師，亦是印度國立設計學院（National Institute of Design, India） 資深教授、竹倡議中心共同創辦人、技術發展實驗室主任，其專業工作經歷橫跨印度與義大利，累積超過15年以上。2015年9月參加於韓國舉辦的世界竹節大會，數件作品成為韓國大永世界竹節博物館的永久展示。他為印度竹藝設計帶入新面向，抱持的理念是「為世界帶來更環保永續的竹製用品，讓地球成為更適合居住的地方」。
An Industrial Designer with specialization in Furniture and Interior Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with an overall professional experience for more than 15 years from both India and Italy. He is an Associate Senior Faculty at NID, the head of Skill Development Labs as well as the co-founder of Centre for Bamboo Initiatives. He travelled to South Korea for the World Bamboo Congress in September 2015 and some of his contemporary designs had been part of the permanent display at the World Bamboo Museum in Damyong, South Korea. He has developed an expertise in designing Bamboo Hangers and furniture, bring new demotions into Indian bamboo craft art and design, with his belief of “providing the world green and sustainable bamboo products and making the earth livable”.
